Yes, nothing destroys a people like a little nudity. Just look at all the most repressive religions, and governments, in the world, hmm, they all make nudity illegal, and even bring on the death penalty for showing a little ankle. Yep that “bible teaching” is soooooo liberating!
Yes there were a few problems at Fire Island, but it’s the NPS that is now bowing to demands for “modesty” from the prude patrol.

I’ve been going to the most “conservative” part of Fire Island for over a decade (Davis Park) and have yet to encounter one person who gives a crap about nudity.
All this does is reinforce the talibanesque view that nudity and sex are the same thing.
