Seems that Mr. Handelsman is as disappointed with our options as many of us are. Neither candidates is offering citizens a real option.
You folks still dealing with Sandy, stay strong. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope you get through this with your lives made whole. Both the storm and the election.
Prayerfully,
C.

It seems that the solution on the left at least doesn’t violate the rules of logic and nature. Money can be found, easily. Just let me at it. I’ll turn those NY fat cats on their head and shake till everybody has their home back…

FEMA is a disaster. Why doesn’t the government bring in the military? They could handle it. FEMA obviously can’t.

Um, the military is running the “War on Terror”, and is occupied at the moment. Much of the National Guard and Reserve are also on active duty.
There is much that can be done in an emergency. Priorities have to change based on conditions and personnel available. This is data we are not privy to; I am sure that when the dust settles, we’ll find out how much of a disaster FEMA is; I feel pretty confident that they will be judged much less harshly than the last test (Katrina).
