If the evaluations they used were any good, I would support them. But they are not. School testing has done more damage to American schools than anything except maybe the Creation Science idiots.

Unfortunately, education research uses highly dubious methods, with little statistical merit and even poorer study designs. In other words, just the kind of “science” that the GOP embraces.

A compilation of ideas from the best and brightest teachers was done in the ’60 recommending the best ways to teach and for learning, different students learn best in different ways. These Ideas were never put into effect, tho some of the ideas were used in Montessori schools.
