Equating the relatively open and tolerant democracy of Iran to the headchopper’s paradise of Saudi Barbaria is obscene. No wonder GoComucs chose to publish this.

Yup. the confirmed paradise of terrorist training camps and even royal family members supporting them. our “ally” that teaches their children, and publishes school books which claim christians are apes, and jews are pigs. send ’em another billion.

Which ‘paradise’ are you speaking of? Or maybe both?

The Iran / Saudi Arabia feud is maybe the most serious threat to peace in the middle east right now…and almost NOBODY is paying attention.

Hopefully Iran and Saudi Arabia, despite mistrust and difficulties, will bring realism, responsibility and compromise to their dealings and to the region. -UN Sec-Gen Ban Ki-moon

“Tolerant” is a relative term. Iran is still a theocracy and not much more liberal than Saudi Arabia is. Two kinds of fanaticism.

Well the US has many terror training camps. Our whole military is dedicated to terrorism on a wide scale. So much larger than Iran or Saudi Arabia and that is how we are looked upon by others. Until you understand that you won’t understand any of it.

One is a repressive, hardline theocracy who had a heavy presence behind the deadliest terrorist attack our nation has ever known.

The other says mean things about us, so we should bomb them.

Right now the US and Israel are the two most likely countries to start a war and they both have nukes! If any other country had “helped” Iraq the way the US has it would not be respectable or helpful. The only reason the US isn’t called a “terror nation” is that it is too large and powerful to be called such. And with an average US forces in 136 countries or more just in 2015, you can see why.

Simple fact is that Wahabi have funded or pushed far more terrorism around the world; like 9/11/01, than Shia or other Sunnis. But neither has invaded and destroyed whole countries half-way around the world from them, that takes a “good Christian nation”.

Nahhhh. It’s diplomacy. It’s what we pay him for. Imagine the quote “These guys are nutters and they’re going to blow up the world. I give up, man. I wash my hands of this garbage.” – Ki-Moon

Maybe a little rose – but diplomacy can go a lot further than bombs. Iranian officials visiting Europe and sanctions lifted. Maybe they can breathe a little easier ad a road to peace can be found.
