What are the Dutch mad about?
Don’t they know we have the “Most open and transparent administration” of all time?

    @ConserveGov

The problem is that the Dutch just discovered that they have been spied on by the USA since the previous administration, and yes, hence both sides of your political system are guilty.

W have been spying on a lot of countries and they, in turn, spy on us. There is nothing new here.

What both sides? Not much of an other side. The Oligarchs and plutocrats among them rule over us. Theocrats welcome.
    Plutocrats-rule by the elite.
    Oligarchy-rule by the rich.

What are the Dutch complaining about?

“a British newspaper revealed that Denmark is among several countries that have shared sensitive information with the US intelligence agency NSA for decades.

The Guardian newspaper revealed that at least seven EU member states have shared personal information with the NSA, including Denmark, the UK, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.

Sensitive documents, seen by another English newspaper, The Observer, reportedly showed that the countries have had agreements in place since the Cold War that compel them to hand over data, which experts believe includes mobile phone and internet data.

    ”http://cphpost.dk/news/international/denmark-us-spy-agreement">The Copenhagen Post

“There is no end to the controversy in Denmark surrounding the government’s online portal, www.borger.dk, which allows people to report those they suspect of committing benefits fraud. Created in October 2012 by the department for payments of social subsidies (Udebetaling) the site is meant to identify and deter those who want to cheat the taxpayer. Everything is permitted, even uploading photos of your neighbour online, immortalising him in a snapshot as he leaves the house with his wife, even though he may have told the authorities he is single, in order to claim a single-person’s allowance. Legal experts note that the ‘moral depravity’ of a public website that ignores the individual’s right to privacy actually encourages illegal activity, seeing as photographing people in Scandinavia in their home is a crime punishable with up to six months in prison.

So they have neighbors spying on neighbors.

Thank you very much, it seems to be a vast left wing conspiracy, but honest, it is insane the whole deal of governments attacking there own people like this.

I am amazed how many people fail to realise that Prism just keeps us all safe.

Chancellor (isn’t that ‘fuhrer’ in German?) Merkel was furious when she FIRST heard about Prism. Then she was told that all her e-mails and phone calls are in Obama’s hands, and could be released to the German voters if she were not compliant with Obama’s wishes.

Then she announced that Germany was very grateful to the US for developing Prism which had saved Germany from hundreds of terrorist attacks.

And if Prism can do that to the fuhrer of Germany, just think how safe it is keeping every American from attacks by foreign leaders who have to worry about their voters seeing their most embarrassing e-mails and phone records.

The Left wing is under funded, unorganized and not in the driver’s seat.
