    Forget-me-nots?
Ever since the neocons, peace has been a taboo subject.

You listed the artist’s name, the region he lives in, and the name of a terrorist group operating in the area, but forgot to mention the name of the country. Its name is ISRAEL!

Indeed , no gilded cage for Peace, in fact a concrete wall would be more accurate.

Can anyone explain the symbology of the “thorned” cage as opposed to “gilded” cage?

Palestine never wants peace they want to destroy Israel, doesn’t matter they never had a state of there own. It was always a possession of somebody else. The Brits, before that the Ottoman Empire, before that Syria and Jordon going all the back to the Romans

Whereas the good, Right-Wing, Evangelical Americans only want to destory one third of them ( and convert the rest to Christianity )

It’s interesting to note that this cartoon doesn’t seem to be singling out Israel as the culprit…It’s about as generic as they come.
So I wonder…if this had been drawn by say, a Dutch artist instead of a Palestinian, would so many of the people responding be taking upsides like this?

Both the USA and Israel undermine any way to peace. The Israeli leadership believe all the are the Palestinians are on is theirs by right of previous ownership. They want them dead or gone and the Palestinians are slowly doing just that.

    the life of a Palestinian

a Palestinian is born upside down with horns growing out, these horns later fall off. when children they can teleport. Seemingly taking great joy in appearing in time to be shot during Israeli military operations. If they reach adulthood their body’s start to develop bombs as appendages.

quite honestly I can only fear that you would read that as truth. It is true that Palestine has never been its own empire, however it has been its own state.

Quite honestly you seem to imagine that all Palestinians are evil. that said a slated worldview is easy when one lacks the ability to think criticly

Gotta start reading the small print.
Here I was all up and agitated about those Syrian factions refusing all attempts at peace.
    .
My bad, it is those Israeli factions refusing all attempts at peace.
    .
    “What difference does it make?”

    Palestina to the Romans,
    Canaan to the Greeks,
    Judah to the Babylonians,
    or the Levant to Crusaders,
or Yehud Medinata to the Persians…
