    Tue,
    Please explain how you are equating an ethnic Chinese writing out of Singapore with a Chinese citizen.

    @Gladius

    Tue has an excellent grasp of geography. Singapore is part of China, and Syria is next to Suriname. And when Americans go to New Mexico, they’d better take their passports and their Spanish phrase book, since they’ll be visiting a foreign country. And when you go to Latin America, make sure you remember all your high school Latin. & etc. & etc.

    A Brit once said loudly that Americans don’t even know where Chad is. Not only do they know where Chad is, they know who got her pregnant! So there.

    Uh, Singapore is an independent republic, and former British colony, not part of China. But considering I’ve actually talked to New Yorkers who DID think New Mexico was part of Mexico, our folks ARE pretty dismal on geography. Don’t confuse them even more.

    The blood letting is still going on in Syria but so many eyes turn to the Olympics is the point.

    Night,
    Nobody missed the point. It was obvious enough that it needed no comment. Several of us obviously felt that Tue’s post needed some commentary.
