    Israel is protecting itself from an outside force that refuses to be apart of the modern world. The Palestinians have taught generations to hate the Jew. Where as Israel has accepted Muslims in it’s country and Muslims are represented in the government.
    How is shutting out those of Hamas from harming Israel “biting it’s own tail” How is the Iron dome part of what is “tearing at the belly of itself?”
    I am sorry just do not get this toon. Someone tell me what flag that is? Al Ka Da or Hamas flag is not that one? Radical Islam is what is trying to take down Israel, so does that flag represent Radical Islam?

    I guess that is Palestine flag? But they are the ones that isolate them self. They are the ones on attack, not as this toon depicts, so no wonder I am confused.

    This toon is all wrong. CLEARLY one side is 100 percent in the right and the other is 100 percent in the wrong. Or not.

    Here is a thought;
    The land area that is in discussion here is mighty small. Those who are occupying this land all have a history of their people living on this land for a millennium and more.
    There are nearby neighbors in large number who do not like either, or in many cases, both of the groups represented here.
    There is absolutely no spare land anywhere nearby, or, for that matter, anywhere else.
    To me this makes for a tense, and frequently violent situation.
    No one seems to be able to find any civilized way out.

    I do not wonder why you are confused.

    You really need a lesson in history, and how Israel has expanded in the time it has been there.

    Illustrating intra-species (tribal) relationships indeed.

    Generally speaking, when you are attacked and win the war, you annex your enemy’s land. This goes for every nation embroiled in war, forever, except for the US, which only asks for a plot of land to bury their fallen. And of course except for Israel for some strange reason.

    Nlkilpat is wrong. By the 1860s, the Holy Land was virtually deserted—as attested to by Mark Twain. The great influx of Arabs began after 1924—hardly millennia that we are talking about. And those Arabs—and the ones who came before them—illegally and immorally took Jewish land.
