   Who was that Eastern European demographer (some CNN talking head) who pointed out that at the current rate of Arab population growth INSIDE Israel, Jews will be in the minority by 2035 or so at the latest…

   Calm down Scott. There are at least two logical fallacies in your statement.

   
   

   1. The settlements at issue are in occupied territory, not land that is internationally recognized as part of Israel’s territory. Those are the settlements at issue, which you probably know.

   
   

   2. Israel has never been a state where only Jews live. Arabs, Muslims, Christians, even some Christian Arabs have always lived there. And besides what does the demography of the different groups have to do with the building of settlements in occupied territory?

   The current rate of growth of the Arab population in Israel does indeed suggest that they may come to outnumber the Jewish population. I’d think that was one more reason for learning to get along.

   Oh yeah, even if we think they will all end up in Hell, the Jews need to be all rounded up in Israel before the Big Man can send the Grand Finale.
