you know what though - i loved (love) the beatles, but do i want to hear any beatles video game? uh … no
furthermore, it makes me crazy when some big moneybucket buys something precious and turns it into cheap penny candy, so to speak, and then makes more money off the legend
Oldie Do you remember a classic song from Allan Sherman called “Pop Hates The Beatles” in which a father is lamenting about the Beatles & his daughter’s going crazy for the “Fab Four” & what he was planning to get a group of parents to get the Beatles?
pup you have memory cell left!! good old G-D in Little Rock.
But I had no DA as my 1stSgt frowned on them, Plus that was 1957 and I think the Fab Fruits did not come on the scene til 1960 after I had already served an overseas tour and re-enlisted. Bought a TR3 with my bonus.
So what you’re trying to tell us is that you have a tiny dick?
Overseas tour, during peacetime… woo hoo.
Where? Germany? And you didn’t hit the Hamburg clubs? Wuss!
Beatles hit here in 1963 (I think).
Meanwhile, Macy’s ads are now using “Come Together” as the music bed. I remember when Instant Karma was the music for Nike and it set off a storm. I have thought that Beatle music was off limits to commercials. I guess Chase used one earlier this year, and now this one.
And yet still I can’t download them? Phooey on them.
I wished all my career that it could be Germany..but the first one was Guam(is good) The last one was finally the UK but I screwed up and got married there….not all bad had two fine sons.
REASONS: “The Beatles” don’t actually own their music. EMI Music own the actual recordings, and Sony/ATV, which is partly owned by Michael Jackson’s estate, own the music and words. Harrisongs own the rights to George’s songs, and Ringo owns all his own music. Apple Corps. owns their likenesses.
You can’t blame “The Beatles” when their music is used in commercials, or that you can’t download it.
