I have no problem with admitting to ignorance. I have no idea who this is meant to be. Anyone else know?

Radovan Karadzic. He was a leader of the Bosnian Serbs who was finally arrested last year. He is now being tried under the auspices of the International Court in the Hague for, amongst other war crimes, the Srebrenica massacre of over 8000 in ‘95.
The trial began a few days ago.

Oldlegodad, you’re blowing it again - during most of Radovan’s childhood, his father Vuko spent most of his time in jail in Tito’s Jugoslavia due to his extreme Serbian nationalism, which the Jugoslavian party tried to combat (as it did other nationalisms, Croat, Bosnian, etc) due to the danger they represented to the Republic. Neither Karadžić pere or fils were Communists. Why do you find it necessary to comment on matters of which you possess absolutely no knowledge ?…
