    Boehner’s own people wouldn’t vote for it.

    Firs Boehner’s Plan A went over the cliff, then Plan B followed.
    Next to go over the cliff will be the careers of both Republican and Democratic House and Senate, politicians.

    Like they did it all by themselves, without any input or help from r/w. Ha Ha.

    Based upon all that I’ve read and your inane comments, first: President Obama did not “oops” kick it over. Second: let’s go. It actually sounds like the preferred solution.

    What part of my statement do you think is incorrect?

    Hardly Obama on this one…Boehner couldn’t even get enough of his own party to buy in. He actually had an interesting political strategy going, too, but for the sanctimonious adolescents in the GOP who only see as far as their next fundraising letter.

    @onguard

    Obama signed this atrocious legislation based on active political extortion being meted out by the GOP. The Dems, while definitely sharing in the blame, were also largely dragged into this boondoggle by a GOP who refused to consider any coherent solution. When the GOP Presidential candidates said to a person that they wouldn’t come close to accepting $10 in spending cuts for $1 in revenue, the dysfunction was apparent.

    @Dr Lou

    There are NO spending cuts proposed by anyone…..All agencies will get more money next year than they got this year under any proposal.

    And I suppose there is no little thing called “sequestration” in this little fiasco? The thing that was engineered by the GOP as part of their extortion earlier in the year?
    .
    Stay tuned. The GOP will once again be threatening putting their country into a depression if they don’t get their way on the debt ceiling.

    ^ And you would send them all to “re-education camps” to show them the error of their ways,wouldn’t you.
