I hate this guy’s cartoons. They’re always so esoteric, and centered only on economics. I know French guys tend to be cheapskates, but can’t they think of ANYTHING other than money?? Or at least think of it in a semi-coherent fashion?
Dobritz is obviously a cartoonist linked to the financial sector.
The trouble is, I don’t what he is editorialising with this cartoon as I don’t follow French press. Anyone?
I can guess, like his previous cartoon with the cogs, white-collar workers are being crushed (within the cogs of business) or cut out in the current economic woes? Redundancies…?
Scott: From the title, it would seem the comics under this aegis should be about business and economics, so I’m not sure if you think the current comic does not belong and if so why not? or if, as an avid follower of the Bible, you believe as every true Christian does that all secular business is wrong, and ‘from each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs’. (Marx’s paraphrase of Mk 10:21-30)

Cut along dotted line for redundancy (canning) Too many people are still on that bubble.
