ANandy, raising the minimum wage is a ridiculous concept. The only reason America works so well is that there is unequal wealth distribution. You start trying to bring up the standard of living among the lower classes and the next thing you know, they want more and more. The lower classes must be kept where they are if American business is to thrive.
And omQ R, Deng did the right thing. Introducting a class system in China has made it competitive.
