He has lost. He is still promising the same things today as he was 4 years ago. Anyone who believes in him anymore is deluded by smoke and mirrors.

It was false hope to begin with Obama was in the pocket of the 0.01% as much as Romney is now.

Hope & change turned out to be “I hope I have some change left in my pocket”.

It’s just disappointing that with all he promised we didn’t get a cleaned up WH. He might have kept us all with him if he had. I really wanted change as he promoted and not what we ended up with.

I’m not sure where you’re going with that remark but it smacks of disdain. 7 years ago after Katrina, New Orleans & US engineers turned to Dutch expertise on how to improve their flood defences. I’ve just heard that New York is now doing the same. Be grateful.

Heartbreaking that the rich and their Repub. stooges have denied success to a decent, intelligent, honest family man. He is the best of the American dream and the Repubs just can’t stand it! Shame on them.

That was humor, right? You cannot be talking about o as a decent, honest family man. It’s just laughable.

And when was that?

And when was that?"
During my tour on their polders, I was told they had massive and deadly flooding in the ‘50s. Over 2500 dead, wiped out huge tracts of their farming land, killed tens of thousands of animals and hundreds of millions in damages. I lived there almost a year and it’s seared in their national consciousness.
It kicked off their delta support works to counter future floods. This is the expertise which New Orleans tapped into after Katrina. New York wants to learn from these experts, too.
