   Times change. It’s two different short guys. The first one’s name began with a ‘B’ and he was from a tiny island that used to own Iraq, but I have no idea who he was supposed to be.

   
   The second short guy doesn’t have an initial, so he’s someone else (no idea who).

    Are folks aware of the currency crash in Iran this past week? The Iranian rial lost 1/3rd of its value. The dude is a figurehead & a scapegoat, for everyone, internally and externally. There is a huge political battle going on within Iran but that rarely gets the headlines. The rial’s woes are going to be crucial to his political survival. If you thought the blame game taking place between the US’s parties was vicious, you really should try take a closer look at Iran’s blame game between Ahmadinejad & the fundamentalists (yeah, Ahmadinejad is considered to be less conservative and undermining the power of the clerics).
    
    But hey, you need a bogeyman.

    Ahmadinejad is a puppet of the ayatollahs. His main job is to be the face of the nation so that the clerics go relatively unnoticed in their influence over state affairs.
    .
    Most westerners don’t realize (or refuse to believe) that Iran has a massive population of intelligent, secular, progressive people who loathe the clerics and Ahmadinejad. They were marching in the streets a year before the Arab Spring and the west did nothing to stop the islamic tyrants from gunning them down, imprisoning them and suppressing them.
    .
    THIS IS THE COMPLETE INVERSE OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN IRAQ. In Iraq, you had a secular dictator suppressing religious people and propping up progressive “western” people.
    .
    In both cases, you have Israel sticking its nose into our military, state and economic affairs by trying to goad us into war with their enemy.
