I used to like watching thunderstorms. You know, watching the lightning off in the distance and then hearing how loud the thunder was. And counting the seconds between the lightning and thunder to get an idea how far away it was. Right now the thunderstorms of late have tended to be too short and only increase the humidity rather than lower it.
