All those advanced degrees he keeps bragging about, and he can’t even spell Obama.

So many people talking about an agency about which they know nothing whatsoever. Not surprising, because they’re getting their news from a sensationalist press that knows less than nothing. “Clipping” the NSA in any significant way would be very Bad for our national security.

Aren’t you the one who always chides people that everything is not black or white? When the pendulum swings too far in one direction it is time for it to swing back some. It doesn’t neccessarily have to swing all the way to the other extreme.

While the Constitution, and courts, do define some limits, that technology keeps moving, interesting that while both liberals and conservatives want “privacy” (which isn’t specifically addressed in the Constitution), they also want TOTAL SECURITY FROM ANY HARM!

At the same time, the ludicrous branding of information as “classified” under Reagan and Bush 41 started closing government to the public, blaming Obama for not being totally “Open” is the opposite side of the pendulum, and equally stupid on the part of the “media” and public.

Another issue where RADICAL left, and RADICAL right are both pulling their ideas from that place the grass grows greener over.

No, it wouldn’t. Not in the least. Talk about knowing less than nothing. You do know that intelligence agencies, working under actual laws that protected people’s privacy, had all the information they would have needed to stop 9/11. Right? It is a fact. The unlimited spying they’ve been doing on private citizens hasn’t stopped a single act of terrorism, and never would. There is no justification for it whatsoever.
