    I have payed for medical expenses for relatives who did not have insurance, I was charged far less than what insurance companies would have been billed. I had deductions for not having insurance and for paying promptly. More is charge to insurers to recoup what is lost from providing services to those without coverage or funds to pay for services. Insurers are aware of this and pass it on to the insured in premium billings.

    they are just a lot of “NOise” They live to scare the people by saying “it will be YOU paying for the free-loaders”

    Who do you think end up paying for the poor uninsured whose only way to get medical care is by going to the emergency room.
    QUIT wit the Drama! GOP, you have over-played your hand.

    The Koch brothers are funding the anti-Obamacare movement.

    Actually, the American people are not enjoying the $h!+ sandwich called Obamacare they’ve been handed….

    Making up facts again? Most Americans like the elements of Obamacare when they are laid out.

    Who’s making up facts?!

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/health_care_law

    The overwhelming majority of polls show the public doesn’t like it and with each new part put in place it’s popularity plummets… Much like the student reviews of Obama’s classes at the University of Chicago did.

    The republicans know that once Obamacare is in full operation people will know how well it works and they are not going to be able to find anyone to vote for their stupid party.

    Americans pay around 80% more as a share of GDP for medical care than the rest of the G8 and at the same time have the lowest average life expectancy in the OECD. There are a lot of takers skimming cream in the system and I would bet money that they are all REPUBLICANS who are now starting to worry about their rice bowl so they are getting stooges like Cruz to do his thing.

    With companies cutting hours to avoid paying for employee health insurance, that will put a major portion of the work force looking at Medicaid to make up for the loss, putting more demand on a system already over loaded. At least Obama care is a viable option and saves the tax payers money.

    @Tigger

    ACA replaced with what exactly? The Republicans would just leave things the way they are.
    Insurance companies can dump you whenever they want without explanation.
    Preexisting conditions preclude coverage.
    Premiums can be raised at any time.
    Insurance bureaucrats can decline coverage and interfere in how you are treated.

    Those good old days?
