Fortunately, for me, you, Huma Abedin, took me, Carlos Danger, to be your lawfully wedded husband… and we live in a $3.3 Million sprawling, 12th-floor Park Avenue trophy residence owned by my supporter Jack Rosen, who is a close pal of Bill Clinton and a top bundler for Obama, and the only time we will be in a basement that looks anything like this is in some cartoonist’s head.”

[“Rosen — who oversees the American Jewish Congress — is an influential international political force. He’s been a guest at the White House, flies the Clintons in his private plane, and has poured money into both Bill and Hillary Clinton’s election campaigns over the years, according to campaign-finance records.

He has also contributed several thousand dollars to Weiner’s coffers, and is a top Obama bundler, donating more than $500,000 to the president’s re-election efforts.

    The market-rate rent on Weiner and Abedin’s 2,120-square-foot, four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom apartment is at least $12,000 to $14,000 a month, real-estate sources said.

Some Weiner-watchers are stunned that the pol, who gave up his $174,000 salary when he resigned, and Huma, who makes around $155,000 annually, can afford the posh pad at 254 Park Ave. South at East 20th Street.

“It’s a ridiculously expensive place,” said a top Democratic fund-raising source with deep ties to the Clintons.

“Everyone assumes they live there for free, thanks to a donor, a friend of Bill and Hillary, or even just someone with an empty place who is connected,” the source said.

But Hillary Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines insisted that Weiner and Abedin pay “market rate’’ for the pad.

“They are a two-income family and are more than capable of paying their market-rate rent,” he said, declining to disclose exactly what the couple pays.

Weiner hasn’t landed steady work since leaving office…”]

At the time the article was written, it went on to say “Federal officials such as Abedin face restrictions on receiving gifts and must disclose their financial dealings to ensure that their decision-making isn’t compromised by private interests.” That was when she was Deputy Chief of Staff under Hillary at the State Department. Today as the Director of the Transition Team in helping Hillary return to “private life”, I would assume she is no longer a Federal Official, and has no such restrictions.

Unfortunately, Weiner has lots of name recognition and is associated with the reputable Oscar Mayer…

I don’t think any of that will help his political fortunes now that these new revelations have occurred. He’s likely dead in the water and hopefully will stay that way. He’s no longer a significant factor in the race for mayor of New York if the polls are accurate.

I’ve been around, but mostly lurking. I grew weary of the endless shouting matches where no one was listening or trying to learn. Time is too precious.

Garden of Eden, snake, apple…ring a bell?
Thanks for your post, but it still is a puzzle to me.
I am familiar with the book of Genesis; but the serpent offered the Fruit of Knowledge (not specifically an “apple”) to both Adam & Eve. That fruit caused them to realize they were naked and “they were ashamed.”
    Weiner has no shame.
Thus, in my estimation that analogy does not apply – and the fish-bones are even more of a puzzle.

I htink you’re reading too much into it. The serpant (with or without the apple) is Satan, or evil. The whole basement setup reaks of evil and stinks, hence the dead fish.
