But you crazy libs just need to put up a bigger sticker that says “Gun Free Zone” and that should make everything all right and you can feel good that you did something.

High capacity magazines and semi automatic weapons with them should be reserved for the police or the military. In actuality, if you were going to state that weapons were allowed by the second amendment to protect the country with militias, then perhaps those weapons should be limited to the single shot flint loading types that were all that existed at the time of the writing of the second amendment itself.
If that were the case, then it would be impossible to have such mass killings. However, you are correct about one thing, and that is if we are going to have proper laws against such Assault Weapons and magazines , then they will only be as good as the enforcement of those very laws!
I would like to think that you and the other ultra conservatives here are not so stupid as to not realize that!!

By the way, Israel is a very special case in that they are surrounded by people that wish to destroy them. Hopefully, we are not in that condition yet in the US!
I am willing to admit however, that we do have a very large and special problem in that unlike other first world countries that do not have large quantities of guns in the hands of most of their populations, we already have well over one hundred million guns in this country. This makes it very difficult for us to do something about the incredible mass killings that occur so much more often in this country than in other countries.
And I will also admit that while I do not have the answer, I know that putting even more guns in the hands of such people as teachers is not going to help.

Really, how do you KNOW this? Isn’t that simply your belief?
Experience tells us that these murderers are cowards. Virtually everyone of these shooters turns their weapons on themselves or surrenders when someone WITH a gun confronts them. It also tells us these attacks take place in gun free zones without armed security.
Progressives always use extreme examples of wrong doing to infringe on the rights of everyone, rather than trying to solve the problem. It is societies fault that people do evil, so society must pay. I do appreciate your journey into reality in recognizing that there are simply too many guns already in public for Govn. to control. That won’t stop the left. There’s a whole lot of capitalism goin’ on out there and their trying to get rid of that, so I don’t put anything past them.

I searched the web for information on armed Israeli teachers using multiple search key words and could only find a lot of sites of dubious credibility with some saying they were and others saying they weren’t. I also searched various news sites, including Israeli, and could only find one picture of an armed man at a school (security guard?). I also checked the Israeli government site including the Ministry of Public Security. I could also not find any legislation by the Israeli government on this subject. Is it possible that this is a bunch of BS that went viral and everybody just jumped on it? (rhetorical question)
