Jules Feiffer has described Tony Auth best, "His perspective is that of a bemused and often angry comic historian. Irony, never a favorite form with Americans, is his meat and potatoes. He is not smug, and though he can be mean, he is never mean-spirited. Auth is a moralist and an optimist. He insists, even in this day and age, that hope is more than the name of a right-wing comedian or the shtick of a reactionary president."

it’s people like striper here who turned me into a practicing satanist.

strippy is doing a far better job at turning people off Christianity than we atheists ever could.

Person 918,
If you want to call good evil and evil good, that is on your end.
If you choose to be a Satanist at least you already know where you are going.

Dr. Canuck,
You already have a reprobate mind, so there is nothing I can say or do that is going to change that.
DrCanuck said, about 1 month ago
Quite right, strippy; my mind can only be changed by reason and evidence. Diatribes don’t cut it.

Striper’s obsession with “sexual perversion” reminds me of Larry Craig, Ted Hagard, Jim West, or perhaps the landlords from Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs. He also forgets the questionable practices and charges of election fraud in the US 2000 and 2004 elections.

OK, striper, how about doing that for the GOP now?

Stripe, I don’t care if someone is gay. That is between them and God. It has nothing to do with me and nothing to do with you. You’re utter obsession with other people’s sexual activities drags you down into the mire you seem to want to avoid.
I’m not a Democrat. Stories about Democrats being arrested don’t shame me. Yes, some members of the Democratic Party are crooks. So are many Republicans. Many of us have already listed stories about Republican leaders who have been convicted, are/were under investigations, and all those many, many Gay sex allegations.
Ted Haggard did gay sex and drugs with a prostitute. Larry Craig solicited gay sex in a public bathroom. Jim West advertised for gay sex in exchange for city jobs. Mark Foley sent sexual emails to under age boys and was later revealed to have gay sex with at least one intern. A gay prostitute was given White House press credentials during the Bush Administration. State Senator Bob Allen was arrested for soliciting gay oral sex from an under cover officer. Former national chairman of the Young Republicans gave gay oral sex to several men (not at the same time, mind you. He’s a hypocrite, not a slut.) while they were passed out drunk. Richard Curtis also had gay sex with a prostitute. There was some juicy gay sex details in /that/ police report!
Stripe, it seams that the GOP gay bump-n-grind also goes on. Go on, obsess. You know you want to.

Sriper looks left and sees accusations. If he were to look right he’d see charges and convictions. Unfortunately he’s one of those folks who is way too concerned with what’s going on in everyone else’s bedroom. He claims great religious piety (obviously know which religion is the “real” religion) but obviously has missed the part about “judge not lest ye be judged.”

Hey Striper-
Just so you know, your singular hijacking of today’s forum for your inane ranting has earned you an inappropriate flag for each and every post.
I can only hope that you’ll soon be banned. Have a nice day.

@Stripsey: ”597 forms of sexual perversion”
You beat this… uh, drum… constantly and with great vigor. PLEASE tell me where I can find this list.
I mean, I’m a degenerate LIEberal, and I can only think of a couple dozen. I just hate the idea of being depraved and deprived.

flagged also

All of the liberals cannot handle the truth so they retaliate by flagging my comments.
But it is OK to listen to seniorbullwinkles and crunkbuts profanity and admittance of perversion on a daily basis.
Does a large block of the liberals on this site belong the NEA?
Most of the liberals are wanting more money for the failed public school system.
By the way I originally just pointed out another low life that Obama is trying to appoint. I summarized it and had a hot link like people in the past have requested. I then summarized the appointee to my previous comments on the perversion Obama and the democrats are doing on capital hill.
The rest of the remarks were in direct response of the liberals comments.
If my remarks get removed or not it does not matter, it will not happen until tomorrow and they really are not offensive due to they are factual.
Have a nice day cry babies.
striper77 said, 29 days ago
For all your liberals you can view some of the information on the hate crimes bill at www.afa.net. There is a hotlink on the right side. Here is a summary of it.
In its never-ending quest to shred America’s Judeo-Christian value system,
the left is planning to hurriedly push through a “thought crimes” Bill.
So-called “hate crimes” laws are really laws that criminalize
thought, because they punish an individual not for what he did but for what he
Thought. Politically incorrect thoughts about homosexual behavior will
result in enhanced criminal sanctions under this law.
Everywhere hate crimes laws have gone into effect, they have been
quickly used to intimidate, silence and punish people of faith who express
deeply held religious objections to the normalization of
Homosexuality.
Such laws not only punish officially disapproved speech and thought, they
create two tiers of victims. Under hate crimes laws, some victims get more
protections than others, which violates the fundamental American principle of
equality under the law.
In fact, such laws actively discriminate against heterosexual Christians who
are victims of crime, since they will get less legal protection than homosexual
Victims.
And since “sexual orientation is nowhere defined in the
legislation, this law will give pedophiles, voyeurs, and exhibitionists special
protections, which is why the bill has correctly been called “The Pedophile
Protection Act”
The left has shrewdly and malevolently attached this so-called “hate crimes”
language to a Defense Appropriations bill, and efforts by Republicans in
Congress to remove the language from the Defense bill failed Tuesday night on a
party line vote.

I have flagged too. He has gone so far over the bounds that there is no tolerance left…and I value tolerance!
Jase99 said, 29 days ago
I have not flagged Stripe’s posts as it doesn’t serve much of a practical purpose. What are “they” going to do, ban him? It’s just a matter of signing up a new account under a different name. There’s always a way around things. If you don’t want to read what Stripe has to say, don’t read it.
Stripe, you call my post raunchy, but it’s reality. And it’s pretty tame compared to the police reports and depositions filed during the investigations of those individuals. You are completely obsessed with other people’s sex lives. You keep bringing it up in your posts. You keep listing the different “sexual perversions” you so rabidly rail against. You presented a list of Democratic corruption, so I presented you with a list from the Republican party that coincided with your obsession with other people’s sex lives.
Unlike you, I don’t actually /care/ if those guys um… “becomes friendly” with another guy. (With the exception when a minor and/or non-consenting person was involved. That’s just wrong.) It’s none of my or your business what consenting adults do in private. I don’t want to know what my neighbors do when the lights go out, so I don’t think about it. I don’t want to see the elderly couple “make out”, so I don’t watch. The thing that bothers me about the guys on my list is each them were in a position of power and used that position to promote an anti-gay agenda while committing gay acts. They each wanted to force others to live by a set of rules they themselves did not.
The Republican sex scandals certainly did /not/ always involve one person. Several of them involved multiple people on multiple occasions.
The Larry Craig incident happened in my area. I wanted to get the back ground and understand the “big picture” so I did the research. Congressman Craig’s incident happened in a specific bathroom that was generally known for it’s same sex cruising. He was caught by an under cover officer conducting a sting operation in an attempt to control such behavior. His action of tapping his foot and waving his hand under the stall partition is a known signal to um… advertise one’s “interest.” It’s also not the first time same sex allegation against him. There were other allegations concerning Craig’s alleged um…. “activities” that came to light before the MSP bathroom scandal happened.
And once again I will point out that your link is little more than biased opinion and misinformation. It’s clearly written to scare, incite, and instill only their viewpoint. It makes Fox “News” look honest and unbiased. I mean, really. Pedophile Protection Act? I’d say that’s utter bull pucky beyond belief, but “real Christians” like you actually believe it. When you can point to reputable article from a reputable news organization, I’ll pay attention.

Jase99, flagging is the way some people got rid of Satipera. I do not necessarily agree that he had gone over the edge, but it did ban him from the site. So it does have an effect. Right now, I think that the feedback striper is getting is feeding his mania and this may not be a good thing. Therefore, I think that flagging striper’s obscenities is worthwhile. It is surely better than trying to argue with a madman who is beyond reaching by logic or (apparently) any other way.
churchillwasright said, 29 days ago
Striper may be delusional, but his scribblings are hardly “obscene”.
I can’t understand why people continue to respond to Scott and Striper, argue with them, call them names, muse over whether they are some sort of “bot”, and then complain that they’ve hijacked the thread and flag them.
Skip over their posts if their psychotic ramblings bother you so much. But they make such tempting targets for what you perceive as “the typical right” that they are irresistible. You can’t control yourselves. That’s why you argue, and then complain, and then flag.

Who is this Stripper fella? Why does he talk about sex so much? Can’t he even get a fat girl down to his room in his momma’s basement?
And doesn’t Tony Auth have anything to work on besides Karzai and the Afghan election? It looks like there’s gonna be a run-off, whether K. wanted it or not. Auth had better fly over there and warn each and every Afghan that if any of them vote for Karzai, he’s going to know ahead of time that it’s fraud.
