   whether you (or we) like it or not it is all ‘trickle down economics” take a look around you, the reason the economy is at an stand still is because the Banks and investors–the ones with the capital– stop investing and pulled the money away from the markets and into safe accounts.
   The more you tax these investors, the less they invest, and the worse off every one else is…

   And if you think “Socialist” policies are better, take a look at any of the Europeans, or Canada, they are all worse off, or even better, take a look at the latest example of Failed Socialism, Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela, even though he’s swimming in over-priced oil, Chavez has destroy the country’s economy, food shelves are empty, unemployment and crime worse than ever in the History of the country and they are now producing less oil than ever before after the Government took over most of the oil production……

   You want to support a Socialist Obama that in conjunction with an all Democrat congress will turn this country to the left, go ahead, but don’t cry later when they double-tax your income to give it away to the lazy bums that refuse to better themselves and blame everyone else for their personal shortcomings even though they have been enjoying taxpayers handout already for decades……

Bush has been shoveling money to the rich, and we’re getting an even bigger gap – and that was before the crash.

    well, forgive me if I don’t take your word for it, I’ve read many of your posting here, and if you represent what is coming out of Higher Leaning Institutions like Harvard today, America’s future is doomed, the only silver lining for me, if it can be called that, is that I’ll be long gone by then…..

    I dunno, maybe if we had held a continental congress and invited all the countries of the western hemisphere to join the United States and transform North, Pan, and South America into the true UNITED STATES of AMERICA, period.
    Could be that we might then come up with more than enough drive and resources, both physical and mental, to make America the paradise on earth it could be from stem to stern, wipe out our combined Continental debt and become a model for the rest of the world

    And I’ve heard your leftist friends “census” arguments before, I’d like to point out that the US population also grew by 30-50 million…….and that there will always be ‘poor’ in America and the world, just for the simple fact that none of the Economic Models* invented by mankind (or Aliens)anywhere in the world can keep up with the **OVER_POPULATION explosion….It is just not possible…

    In the near future Humans across the over crowded world will be fighting for Drinking water not oil…..

    That future is getting nearer all the time. Why aren’t we being advised to put a moratorium on the most perfect WMD ever made: Babies!
    I warned my daughter that we would suffer massive food shortages and riots by 2050 back in 1991.
    I’ve had to revise that.
    It may even happen before Apophis arrives on Friday the thirteenth of April 2029!
