They chose their own doctor, who works on a fee-for-service system. My own doctor there did not have Norman Rockwell paintings of a doctor standing vigil over the home bedstead of a sick child (doesn’t happen in the US either), but copies of his research papers from major medical journals. Does your general practitioner have that kind of wallpaper?
