    For your trip to Washington you’re going to have to empty your closet, and don’t forget to pack your trunk…

    No, please, please, Republicans! Nominate a Ted Cruz! Don’t nominate some one like Christie who lives in the real world! He could win!

    I still think a one-way cruise to Somalia…you know that redumblican nirvana that has no government, no taxes, no regulations, and you make money by taking hostages fits all of them.

    While Christie is a popular man his weight is very serious. I having nothing against being fat, look at me, but Christie is a high risk person.

    A while back 60Min did a story of “stapling” over weight people some lost some didn’t. Being President is a long hour day and night job.

    People this heavy have a much high risk of death. Hillary could run for President and Christie’s Vice President that way it is a win win for her, LOL

    He hugged Obama because Obama had helped the citizens of his state, over the objections and delay of the tea party, who only vote for disaster relief in their own districts. Harley, not everyone is like you, valuing your party purity over the lives of the citizens of this country.

    “Would you rather have a morbidly obese president who suffers a heart attack or stroke during a moment of crisis that demands immediate action…”

    Haven’t you been reading? The president only goes golfing. He never does anything, and evidently never has anything on his agenda but his next golf game or next vacation. What difference does it make if Mr. Christie isn’t built for stress? The presidency is just a taxpayer-funded 4-year vacation.

    Weren’t you just telling us a couple weeks ago that it’d be Ted Cruz?
    Not that I’m complaining- I’d much rather see Christie advance than Cruz. Then again, I’d rather see the bubonic plague advance than Cruz.

    Some call Christie pragmatic, I think of him more as an opportunist. He’s basically a statist, who opposes gay marriage and thinks the NSA spying on its own citizens is just hunky dory. I’ll have none of him, thank you.

    Not all Republicans have gone over to the dark side. Some still have some sense.

    No they want their utopia to be American. We are still headed that way to their Randlandia.

    By delusional you mean he isn’t TP and was not supported by TP so he isn’t a real Republican now? Please explain.

    No one attacked Rev. Huckabey for losing weight, it was his loony Reich Wing Christian theocracy he wanted that was dangerous.

    @I Play One On TV

    You’d better look up examples of “morbidly obese” Christie isn’t one of them.

    My post was a reply to a post that evidently has since been deleted. The quote that included the “morbidly obese” reference was someone else’s. Having said that, if Mr. Christie is not morbidly obese, he is closing in on the category. As a health-care professional, my only concern is the patient’s health. It is not a question of “body image” or what I personally prefer.
