Very true, but it’s funny that Tommy Toleys and the other lefty toonists put out nonstop Obama Worship toons until things settle down and then they throw in one token toon that dares criticize their idol.

Funny, all the political pols show that while the American people in general are getting very angry at all sides in this kind of thing, they also show at least a 10-20% greater anger against the tea party and Republicans. Who are the ones that you and others similar to yourself, seem to worship in thes comment boards!

Liberals don’t worship Obama. We find plenty to criticize there, but at the very least, he isn’t holding a gun to the head of the economy and yelling he’s going to pull the trigger unless we give into a crazed minorities’s demands.

Will we ever see a conservative angry with Cruz for taking us all hostage?

My God, you can’t even read a cartoon and understand it. You are a true miracle.

The Conservatives are divided between the mainstream and libertarians like Cruz, and the mainstream conservatives like Douthat have been more critical of Cruz than the pro-Obama types. Of course, in these days ‘mainstream Republican’ includes only about 40% of the Republicans in the house, so it’s kind of small to be called ‘mainstream’, (The Tea types use the term RINO to describe mainstream Republicans.)

Plus, Cruz didn’t successfully take anyone hostage (though he tried). The majority of Senate Republicans are mainstream, and agreed to cloture on Cruz back in September.

You totally misunderstood the cartoon. The American people want a balanced budget that raises some revenue and cuts some spending. The tea party caucus would rather shut down America and let it default again than let that happen. If you want to see America’s mood right now, just compare how Ken Cuccinelli and Chris Christie are doing in their respective races.

Because the ‘minority’ have rigged the system to take more and more income from the ‘majority’. Our income inequality resembles a third world nation’s. What’s next? Repeal the 13th?

Let’s disband the legislative and executive branches and try living under a judicial dictatorship for a while.

Baloney. Paul Ryan’s budget doesn’t ever balance, gives big tax breaks for the rich, subsidizes rich corporations, and cuts domestic programs so cruelly and pointlessly that when the GOP has had to turn its goals into appropriations bills, they haven’t been able to pass a single one even in their own caucus.

Y’all don’t think Government is the problem?

You just go ahead and elect my Republican Party in the next election and we’ll PROVE it to you.
