It’s time to stop getting suckered into these things to appear “tough”, especially to those pushing for it, until it looks like he might do something. Terrible as the situation is, we do NOT need to make things worse, again.

We should have stayed out of the Vietnam civil war.
We must stay out of the civil war in Syria.
We should never have let cheney/shrub/rumsfeld lie us into Iraq. That fiasco killed over 4000 US soldiers, 100’s of thousands of Iraqis, wounded millions, and destroyed Iraq. It cost us well over a trillion dollars (possibly 2 or 3 trillion) that could have been used to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure and have universal healthcare.

Would those Democrats have voted for the invasion had they been told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
Instead of the lies spread by the GOP?

Democrats helped spread some of those lies. It was a bipartisan effort.

From the standpoint of the American and Iraqi people, Bush, jr’s Iraq War was as badly mismanaged as any war since 1918. But for the Oilfingers who ran it, their objectives were achieved as completely and effectively as possible: oil went from $30 to $150, and Bush, jr and his advisors had massive holdings of oil and oil futures. Mission definitely accomplished!! (Plus, 007 was helping the Oilfingers, unlike Bond, the former 007 who stopped Goldfinger.)!

Since, at the request of Saudi Arabia, Obama removed the Emir of Qatar and told the new Emir not to go against Saudi wishes or Qatar would quickly have a newer Emir, we know that Obama is in Saudi’s pocket. So an attack on Syria should enrich Obama just as the invasion of Iraq enriched Bush, jr & associates.

Sorry, Syrian civilians. There’s too much money to be gotten by killing you.

Lets just stay out of this mess!
The British people Spoke to their Parliament
and Told them England had, had enough of Middle East Squabbles. Lets follow their example. Syria is in the middle of a civil war and wants to keep killing, why does the United States have to ride in Like Custer and be slaughtered by both sides?? Lets concentrate of Domestic Problems for a Decade and see what has happened.

Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998 because he said that they were building nuclear weapons. Proof? Never found any.

I miss Bill Clinton. He just dropped some bombs on Sudan real quick-like after the embassy bombings and left it at that. Couldn’t we have done that already, as soon as we were certain Syria used nerve agent? Geez.

The only real target I can think of is Syria’s Air Force, they are using it so take part of it out and say we will bomb again if you use chemical weapons again.

Why is it that I wasn’t fooled and they were? Why were they getting the big bucks and I wasn’t?
