    I’ll put ten armies on the Short Line RR.
    .
    And I am putting a hotel in Kamchatka.
    .
    And the USA is going to be the referee?

    Wasn’t Hillary supposed to make everything hunky-dory ?

    I like. I like very much. Especially the games being played by the interested parties. Very apt.

    Yes, Tole is pretty clever.

    Interesting. I read, once, that the reason we lost the Vietnam war was that we looked at it in terms of chess, while the Viet Cong thought of it as a checkers game.

    Yeah, so that the next President can pay lip service to the problem while unconditionally protecting Israel from the consequences of their actions, just like every other President we’ve had for the last few decades.
    I mean, international law only applies when WE say it does, right?

    Omnius & Wolf,
    You are both incredibly wrong. The Palestinians do not want peace until they destroy Israel. No other country in the world would put up with a fraction of what Israel lives with. In 2000, Arafat was offered everything he wanted and turned it down. On 9/11, the Palestinians all danced in the streets. They cannot be trusted.

    The US is biased in favor or Israel, so that would not be a good idea.

    Maybe, but highly unlikely. Too many other scenarios can happen including the Sampson Option and don’t forget Global Warming. Very few humans by then.

    @Andrew6385

    Arafat was given the option to turn it down and he saw that the problems put in by Israel to get “everything he wanted” would come to nothing. More than once the Arabs and other Semites wanted to continue the peace talks and Israel broke the cease fires so often they can’t be trusted.
