Even Watergate wasn’t “Watergate” with Nixon this far in. Give it time.

First, you must drive a stake through the heart of the undead, before you can bury them.

“Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.” (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here’s the point. Everybody thinks it’s outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, “Oh, you can’t do that.” Why not? Why is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: “Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.”

Obama is kind of like the Democratic version of Reagan, the “Teflon President”.
Reagan had scandal after scandal slide right off.
Of course his administration DID have more high officials indicted and imprisoned then any other…

That’s right. There will be some substance to the ridiculous Benghazi allegations any day now. Aaaaaaaaaany day now.

The difference is that Reagan’s scandals were actual scandals, and the surprise was that they wouldn’t stick to him, even after close acquaintances went to jail. With Obama, the scandals aren’t even really scandals, no close associates are even implicated, and Ryan and Krauthammer have to whine that there MUST be evidence, if only we could find it! They’ve cried wolf so many times, this time the president’s poll numbers actually went up. The GOP simply is not equipped to govern, cannot even pass simple bills, and fake scandals is all they can find to fill their time and distract from their total incompetence.

    He probably didn’t.
Most Politicians inherit a staff from the previous admin. There are people still running dept’s that were in when George H. Bush was president. Most Presidents have to rely on daily briefer’s to give them the day by day issues of govt.

You can see the Republicans drooling. “I just know there’s a scandal, we just have to keep looking, who cares if there’s no evidence, there must be, keep looking, come on, let’s get Ken Starr back, let’s have an investigation, there must be something, there must be something…..”

“He just keeps pretending that he doesn’t know anything about anything in the federal gov”

Worked for Reagan during the Iran Contra scandal, and that involved members of the government giving direct aid to acknowledged enemies of the state (AKA treason).

Good ol’ Slick Willie learned from the Teflon President, Reagan.

Reagan had some serious scandals. Most of Obama’s headaches are artificially inflated by the GOP and their ilk.
