Stupid ‘toon. The Left attacks supporters of the right in order to defund their opposition, while claiming the moral high ground. The demonization is the product, not a solution. The Left isn’t after an end to shootings, they need the issue for the political bashing of their opponents.
Toles is a hack, a disgrace to journalism.

What difference does it make?

Those who think augmented gun control is a laudable public safety objective are not engaged in opportunistic “bashing”. They don’t come to this seeking ways to embarrass the Right and its minority party. Republicans are embarrassing enough already.

Stupid comment. “The left” wants this issue like they want a hole in the head. Progressives don’t need to “bash” their opponents, there is far too much bashing going on already. This issue drives too many moderate voters to the right and distracts from other important issues (like rational government, paying for what we get, and real national defense).

More Guns = More Gun Deaths! When will the NRA morons stop being the best friend of gun toting criminals?

If the NRA doesn’t want gun control, then why can’t I take a loaded gun into a gun show?

Here’s the ultimate NRA solution: Let’s mandate that everyone has to open-carry a gun, that it be fully loaded at all times, and that no guns can have a safety catch. Happy now?

“What difference does it make?”
and don’t think past that point.

“Atlanta Middle School Resource Officer, (yeeks armed with a gun) subdues school gunman. Left media ignoring, however.”
What high capacity, bullets per minute weapon did the school resource officer have and how many holes did he put into the school gunman?
Justice22 said, 4 months ago
Isn’t it funny that for the ten years the Brady Law was in effect, weapons were not confiscated from everyone. The present proposed laws are a continuation of that same law with a call for stricter background checks including for private sellers at gun shows.

Did anyone see the doctored tape that MSNBC put out to further their anti-gun agenda?
Rickapolis said, 4 months ago
Ask an NRA member the following: ‘How many deaths will it take to convince you we need more gun control?’ They will be unable to answer you. They don’t care about who dies. It’s not an issue for them.

Excellent cartoon. I cannot believe that anyone would object to background checks, unless they were a criminal. Assault rifles are only good for one thing, to kill humans.
Stray9999 said, 4 months ago
Why are gun activists (or apologists) so afraid of background checks for everyone? What do they want to hide?
