Obviously a PAC hack. Nothing constructive to offer, and seemingly unlimited time and wherewithal to offer it.

Or just go to the county hospital. So everyone gets to pay for it.

Well the Supreme Court held up the individual mandate as a tax. The left won now we have to try to turn it over after the election.

    " You were right

Still haven’t finished the entire decision, it IS 193 pages! But, I’m surprised the individual mandate to purchase PRIVATE PROVIDED insurance went through. “Medicare for all”, or single payer, makes a lot more economic, as well as “Constitutional” sense with regard to the “tax” issue.

Well you better check the supreme court ruling they say it is a tax.

Yes, but it was the NeoCon Republicans that INSISTED on the mandate.
Now they’ve got to live with what THEY asked for.
And it’s amazing how the Chief Justice jumped through hoops to find a way to decide it to be Constitutional. You’d almost think that he liked the idea, since the dissenters didn’t accept the “taxation” idea either.

I think that the other 4 justices that voted to uphold did not consider it a tax. But was under the commerce clause. I will have to check on that.

Wow, garyharmon, you’re horrible, homophobic, and ignorant. (The vast majority of the American public likes everything in Obamacare. They’ve been turned against the “Obamacare” name by a huge investment in publicity from the corporations whose profits it reduces, but just TRY and take away the huge benefits it has given this country and its citizens.)

Geez, calm down! I was AGREEING with your post to @Ima. Guess I need to be even more aware of how easy it is to get people on the defensive around here.

Poor Cons are having one of those very bad, horrible days. They were so sure they would win this one, and theyre busily scurrying to spin this as best they can. Nice try.

The rest of us are thankful that Roberts appears to be letting his objective side override his partisan side. Now he won’t go down in history looking as ridiculous as Alito, Scalia and Thomas.

Now the president, having a legal verification of the constitutionality of the law, can proceed to talk to the American people about what they wil lose if Romney is elected and has a GOP House and Senate. The cacophony from the right will still be deafening, but the people will begin to see through the rhetoric and fully realize that when it comes to the GOP, there is no “there” there.

Mitt says he’s going to get rid of Obamacare, expect he’ll keep the idea that everyone should have insurance, and of course he’ll keep the idea that no one should lose their insurance if they get sick, and he’ll keep the idea that no one should be denied because of a preexisting condition, and he’ll keep the idea that there should be no lifetime cap on benefits. I guess he’ll change the name to Romneycare, and then it will be okay.
