There’s nothing reasonable about the Left.
Anita Dunn’s profession that mass murderer Mao Tse-Dung was one of her “favorite political philosophers”

^ Dunn was appointed Communications Director on an interim basis after Ellen Moran left. She’s leaving soon, as was planned when she was appointed. It was an odd remark, i agree.

Reasonable people don’t kill off a third of the next generation and expect those remaining to foot the bill for their retirement with no complaint.

By George, charlie, you’re absolutely right. That’s why the right wing, fanatically pro-business, neocon wing of the Republican party that took us into Iraq, sank the economy, then funded all the banks and refused to raise the minimum wage are so unreasonable!
Or was that what you meant…?

The big tent still holds anyone who would vote for Ronald Reagan today.
Oops, there goes all the umarried women, most “minorities”, along with all the homosexuals, atheists, and assorted feminized males–all of whom voted Demoncrat all during the 80’s, 90’s, right on up to the present day!
The whole “big tent” propaganga the Left pushes about the GOP is designed solely to make us keep supporting “moderate” candidates like John McCain. The same “moderates” who lose elections to Demoncrats time after time after time after time after–
You get the point.
So long as the GOP refuses to be “conservative” (a term which actually translates into any normal American prior to the year 1968, excluding only the 60s radicals who tore down the country’s foundations), they will continue to inspire people to stay home and NOT vote, or vote third-party.

scott – except for, oh, women, African-Americans, the poor, or anyone who doesn’t believe in things like: mining Managua harbor and being declared a war criminal (yes, old Ronnie was quite the wild man!), defending criminals (as RR did his second term – more indicted members of his administration than anyone’s since Nixon!), trading with the enemy (as he did with Iran) supporting traitors (like self-admitted traitor Oliver North), or voodoo economics.

Now I hear Dunn’s husband may be “rewarded” by Obama.

The Republicans have their heads IN the tent, not out in the world. It’s become the ostrich party.
It’s not 1980 anymore. We tried Reagan and found him wanting. His ‘trickle down’ has led to the Republicans and the super mega rich they serve to be totally out of touch with the vast majority of Americans.

CHARLIE: HA! It took me three readings to figure out what you meant by a carat short.
Sorry about that, Chief!
