   I say the restrictions were in place and business was doing great. The problems began when the restrictions were lifted by the anti-human, pro-business nit-wits that just exited 8 years of holding the US hostage. They’ll, of course, disagree since they are taking the money home with them.

   Put the restrictions back in.

   No Tigger, it was under Clinton that Glass-Steagall was repealed. Granted, the effort was spearheaded by Republicans, but the President signed it and after it went through a conference committe, it won with overwhelming support from both sides of the aisle.
