When flipping the internet channels, I heard a Christian commentator advocating any means available to stop the “demonic” abortion doctors. That looks like advocating violence and objectifying people to me. Terrorism comes from the oddest corners.

    In answer to arinte’s question:

Rush Limbaugh recently said, “If Al Qaeda wants to demolish the America we know and love, they’d better hurry, because Obama’s beating them to it.”

And if you ask any American, ANY American, what should be done with al-Qaeda, what do you think will be their answer?

Now imagine the person hearing that has a boatload of anger and hate to begin with…and an arsenal in his basement.

Hate is inflamed by the leftists, but blamed on conservatives - due to one isolated instance. By the way true Christians believe in non-violence as a way to fix problem - just like Christ taught.

Dredpiraterobts is right about why Reagan got shot… was not due to politics! And the same goes to the two broads who shot at President Ford ( one did it since she was in love with Charles Manson! ).

Under the impression that hate is non-partisan, I continue to believe that inflamation, defamation, violence, bloated self-important cynacism, toon-haters and nutball media are equally non-partisan.

There are plenty of commentators who talk about “Jews” as if they are one unitary organization, the same way they talk about “Muslims” or even “Christians.”
I think the media should start referring to these loonies as “Christians” with quotation marks to make it clear that this is not what Christianity is about, no matter what the Aryan Nation says (incidentally, they claim Jesus was Aryan rather than Jewish).

Speaking of hate-mongers, IrishCrook is doing a pretty good impression of one.

Hate isn’t really non-partisan. it is the result of ignorance, arrogance, a false or accurate sense of persecution, and a need to strike out at the source of frustration. When the persecution is only imagined, it is also the comforter of cowards.

Andrson Cooper did a two Hour show on these Nutcases, As DredPiraterobts, commented it seems that the more airtime the Media gives these nuts, the more nuts drop out of the trees. Maybe it would be smarter to identify them in the news as an Unknown Individual. Remove the 15 minutes of Fame?

I think they tried removing the names of the nuts, stealth6948, but they found that it only increased the interest in finding out who did the deed. The more effective method of deflecting the nuts was to concentrate the media attention on the victims. When the suffering and grief of the injured parties predominates, even the average whack-job has a little compassion; most try something else.

This is just another example of ignorane on display. The museum shooter was a neo-Nazi whose beliefs are the opposite of what conservatives in this country believe. People who believe this chicken bleeep that the media is serving as chicken salad don’t bother to check the facts…they take it as it is fed to them.

The person who killed the abortion doctor in Kansas was of a similar lot..embroiled in hate groups that teach the same warped, hate-filled world view that the Klan did back in the day and still does.

This foolish attempt to pin the acts of these two men on conservatives and conservative media sources is cowardly. Conservative media is an easy target to them and it’s easier to point the finger at them than it is to actually do the foot work and find out what was really going on.

So you’re saying neo-Nazis and the Klan are left-wingers?

helen lundergan said, 5 months ago

Yea, Anthony 2816, I certainly agree. And remember that the neo-Nazis and Klan members believe they’re “good Christians” And right wingees like Bill O’Reilly can always be counted on stirring anger about the pro-choice activities of Dr Tiller rather than the tragic killing of him. Bill and Russ are so ignorant, let the uncompassionate conservatives have them.
