It’s about time. Why did it take so long ?

Stewiez, There is some sense to what you say. The end of the campaing did you good :)
There is something special about blacks in america because they spent two centuries they worked their butts off for the Scarlett O’Hara’s of this world to be like princesses. After that, they were still considered subhuman. When they wanted some recognition for what they did, some whites told them “go back to Africa” but it was whites that took them from their african homes in the first place.
I know, Obama’s ancestors are kenyan, but still he represents something.

Reason for learning history, so it doesn’t repeat itself like a bad dinner.

Cf, don’t be baited by Stewie. He weeps Crocodile tears and cares for little more than himself.

Stewiez’s veiled racism never ceases to shine through.

Being that they were the only race in American history to ever have the dubious ‘honor’ of ever being owned by another person, yes, 11/04/08 was indeed something special. Certainly the other ‘minorities’ (like women, who number 51% of the American population), Asians, Jews, Hispanics, etc are not forgotten. Progress is made incrementally, otherwise it would be called ‘completion’.

Of course, if it went backwards, it would be called ‘conservatism’. Hee hee.

Jimathai, can a person get in to trouble for scaring another to death?

Hey Stewie, I noticed you changed your icon… you didn’t ditch the commie avatar because it was campaign smear tactic, and not an actual belief, did you? I mean, that would just be cynical, right? Is he no longer a commie socialist because he crushed McCain in the election? I mean, you made such a big deal about it before… are saying it doesn’t matter now? Gosh, that would mean you have no integrity…

I have been so moved by this election and am grateful for having done a small part by knocking on doors on 3 Nov for the Get Out the Vote. And NC finally turned Blue on the electoral map. How beautiful. What a day!

November 14 - I just went through all post election November 4 cartoons. This one is for me the most elegant. Yes, this really when the work begins, but the start signifies the moment where we finally meant what we said so many years ago.

This is truly eloquent and brought tears to me eyes the first time I saw it. Finally, our black brethren can believe that the USA is truly their country too.
At last!

Is this a great cartoon or what? And what a fantastic message to send the world and our youth.
