   Of course Alaskans care less about the environment there than others do - it might be incinvenient for them to have to actually live as if future generations had any right to expect to inherit a place where they can live, too.

   AtG – The gov’t does that for people dumb enough to live in Phoenix. They pay less for water than I do and I live in the land of 20,000 lakes and 1 huge one.
