    Not with a bang but a rerun.

    I enjoyed Toby, but I’m not sure I’m interested in “Angry Eyebrows”, an “ensemble strip” of self-admitted “three biggest failures…destined for nothingness”.

    I’ve seen enough top-quality strips fail after a few frantic years while loser strips go on for generations, so I long ago concluded there is no justice in the comics biz.

    I guess it depends on how one likes one’s life of quiet desperation: as a repeatedly failing cartoonist or as a crushed soul in a real-world job who wishes he could have made it in comics.

    Best of luck to you, Corey. At least you have Elderberries to tide you over.
