    I came between Hamas and Israel and all I got was this lousy T shirt, and shot.

    And the media bias continues…

    @George Harmon

    Bias? This cartoon looks fairly even handed to me. How is it biased?

    I was thinking the same thing, Jase.

    Any cartoon depiction that is not totally on the side of Israel is hopelessly biased.

    Actually it makes them look equal when in fact they are not. Israel is the best armed country in the Middle East.

    The bigger threat to doves seems to be chickenhawks.

    I don’t disagree with you, but that’s not the point of my reply to George Harmon.

    It never ceases to amaze me how people people can simultaneously complain that ISIS is a “threat” yet Hamas needs to be negotiated with. Look at the imagery here. Hamas is not a country. They are a terrorist organization. Israel is a sovereign country. I will never understand how this line of thinking goes….

    That bird has never yet been seen in that part of the world, not for millenia. Must be Israel’s fault.

    However it was my point. Though I should have responded to George Harmon instead.

    Hamas is not like ISIL, not close. They are a death cult, Hamas maybe.

    American’s joining ISIL remind me of Tim Mc Viegh and Terry Nichols.The “cause” isn’t always simply religion, but it seems to be a common starting point, like Koresh.

    @dtroutma

    American’s what joining ISIL?

    Oh, and Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols weren’t religious. McVeigh was raised Catholic but claimed to be agnostic, though he requested a Catholic chaplain at his execution. Nichols didn’t “find God” until he was on trial, a common ploy designed to elicit sympathy from the jury. Their motive was extreme hatred of the government for Ruby Ridge and Waco, not religion.

    Koresh is a different story. While he may have been a nut who thought of himself as the Messiah of some crazy, gun obsessed cult, and he may have allegedly committed rape and/or statutory rape and polygamy, and that he and his troupe would probably still be alive if they had just let the Feds search his compound, before Janet Reno and her stormtroopers raided his compound to serve a freakin’ Search Warrent, Koresh hadn’t shot or killed anyone, All those deaths at Waco are solely on the Government’s head.

    So your “starting points” are rather convoluted.
