What inspired this comic? I’ve always been a fan of Rollins’ philosophy and admired the way he’s lived his life but I can’t find anything topical other than his recent interview in LA Weekly that might have warranted a cartoon…

Thanks, Genome. Hank’s been one of my favorite singers for decades. I will miss seeing him perform (although I am a little old to be at that type of show) but I have to respect a decision to not become a parody of himself like so any other acts.

Since thet opic of parody did come up, I must mention Henry’s collaboration with Shatner.

Henry Rollins quit music? I didn’t even know he was producing. Haven’t seen him since Beavis and Butthead made fun of his video “liar”.

I liked his role in Johny Mnemonic. His spoken word stuff is pretty intense too.
