Ha ha ha, I think I roomed with her in college! I knew my roomie had had a lousy date when she came home, ran a bath and asked if we were out of flea and tick shampoo.

That’s just wierd ejcapulet.
He can finally draw women who aren’t erotic dancers. I actually think the one on the left is cute and I now think he IS, in fact, reading the comments.
This joke isn’t funny whatsoever.
Good catch only that oldie FLS which actually WAS funny. But here’s the perfect example of something that’s been bothering me for a while. If you compare this strip to it’s prior cousin side-by-side there’s no way the current artist can be the same person. I know style evolves but if your signature changed as much as his art your bank would call you everytime you wrote a check, rejecting them all.
His signature, however, hasn’t changed… which is odd. Is someone else drawing them and he’s signing them or are his signatures being photoshopped onto the new strips? I don’t get it. It’s very difficult to fathom that this is the same artist.
I think Bucky has died and someone is playing Weekend at Bernie’s with his strip, continuing to collect the creator’s syndicate fees by churning this drivel brick-a-brack by brick.

A possible proof that Hickerson (or his ‘ghost’) is reading these comments (and of course he does… ) would be if he dug up an old Weekend at Bernie’s gag and ran it two weeks from now…

I agree that the two strips, side-by-side, look wildly different, but I still think they’re both drawn by Bucky. You have to keep in mind they were drawn nearly ten years apart. I’d be more alarmed if they looked almost identical.
My own style of drawing human characters has changed dramatically in the six years I’ve been doing my strip.
Here’s one from 5-13-03: http://www.basketcasecomix.com/?p=207
And a more recent one from 7-13-09: http://www.basketcasecomix.com/?p=1136
Who knows how they’ll look in another four years…

Tigger - wtflol?
KT - love the medusa one.
Yes but I had already considered that. Look at PA has evolved over the years, but they appear to be a similar style regardless. Bucky’s strip has changed more fundamentally… like he switched drawing hands - that’s how dramatic it seems.
