That’s 62.5% - or was your comment rhetorical?

If we’re going to pretend that far-fetched and quite loose allusions are humor then try these on for size!

1.) A pianist sits down at a computer keyboard for a recital and says “I thought the highest note was G, what are the rest of these for?” or… “Where are the black ones?” (white keyboard, obviously)

2.) A guy is spraying a goose with Gold spraypaint saying “and now we wait!”

3.) With “T-Birds” and “Pink Ladies” standing in front of a burger joint in the 50’s, a man holds up a can of Grease Remover and says “Hold it right there!”

-Stupid enough for you yet? I’m sure I can think of a few more!

4.) A truck backs up to a loading dock with an Orca whale slashing around in the back of it and the shipping manager is screaming “I said to order more chamois, not Shamu!!”

-Oh god… I groaned the whole time I typed that one. Note that it would be just as ‘funny’ if you left off the explanatory “not shamu” but Bucky is never happy leaving his with any element of surprise. He takes an already bad joke and delivers it in the worst way imaginable.

5.) A guy at an event is filling out name tags for guests when some token modern hippie (think laptop on the table at starbucks) says “hey man! it’s not cool to label people!”

I could go on but at this point it’s important to stress that while NONE of those were funny, they are all funnier than any Quigman’s strip within memory and I thought of them in about 5 minutes which obviously means that if I thought that sort of thing were worth sharing I certainly wouldn’t have to re-use any.
When will this hack go away?
I guess the joke’s on us though, really since he is still making money. I wouldn’t stop either if I thought I could get away with that kind of robbery.

    So Force, let’s see 2,3 & 4 in ink…
    (see if you can draw….)

I fail to see the relevance since no one I’ve mentioned in my critique can draw. What is that… the cowardly elephant standing 2nd from the left? The wizard can sprays in both directions?
I could use stick figures and still come out on top.

Your point seems to be: “if you’re funny, but can’t draw - you can’t have a comic strip”… well what if you can ‘draw’ but you’re not funny? Is that not a problem for you?
What if you can’t do either?

How about this one, the 4 of the wizard crew standing where there should be Emerald City, but instead there are jagged white crystals jutting up everywhere like the planet Krypton and Dorothy is saying “We could have used Google Maps but NO, ‘follow the yellow brick road’ he says…”

OR - (Bucky’s same drawing above) Any character saying “no, we’re certainly not in Kansas… actually I think this is San Francisco.”

Again, idiotic - but so much funnier than this strip. It’s not rocket science.
