    The old Folger’s line would run “We’ve secretly replaced these Dilithium crystals with Folger’s crystals. Let’s see if anyone can tell the difference!”
    And then you could have him in the engineering room, watching people throw papers, press buttons, bite thier fingernails, etc.
    Of course… Scotty would also say “She’s comin’ apart cap’n, I can’t keep her together” but that’s just a really insignificant pet peeve on my part.

    Even when he’s mildly funny it has the feel of a truly insufficient retelling of another person’s joke.
