   Obviously, FareftSide (stanfill) is not taking my advise to turn his toxic energy into doing what he COULD do -making his own name with his own paenle or strip. What a waste. You’ve GIVING Hickerson power over you and by giving him your time. And your depriving the rest of us of your comic talents. I’m afraid you’ve fallen too far downthe black abyss of anger and have lost any sense of direction. Shakespeare would have loved your story because it’s a true tradgedy.
   Oh well, I tried reasoning.

   Of couse you do. You probably also belong to rage-aholics. I bet in order to get in the door there’s a chart with blood pressure levels on the wall. Your blood pressure number must be THIS high (think height charts at carnival rides) to get in.
   If we could just find another spot for rager’s spewing, I could take the spit guard off my lap top.

   Mike, Eardroppings is right. Your anger and bitterness ties you to Hickerson. He treated you badly, and that sucks, but you need to move on, man. Life is too short to spend it in bitterness.

   Dan Reynolds (aka eardroppings) knows all about bitterness. He trashes The Argyle Sweater every chance he gets. His envy is obvious. Dan was passed over for syndication and Scott Hiburn got the deal.

    I was bothered before because all the fantasy going around about me being Dan Reynolds. It bothered me because, well, I’m not him and now I see dermando has taken it a step farther and he’s unfairly besmirching this guy himself. I’m not sure about your accusations about Dan Reynolds, but I think someone should make him aware of what is being said about him to give him a chance to address this. I could do it myself, but somehow I just think this will just be more fantasy fodder for Dermando and whoever. I might note that based on this last post by dermando, one could easily and logically assess that this dermando IS Scott Hilburn? I’m not saying he is. I’m just saying making these accusations at a guy who’s not around to defend himself(behind is back), and I’m betting won’t be substantiated when Reynolds is made aware of it, is low brow.
    I’ve Googled him and found he has a web site. I would ask someone, anyone to email him, let him know how someone is accusing of the below.
    
    As regards to the Farleftside, a number of people agreed with me, but I can’t ake credit being the author of such ideas…it’s just common sense! Anyone who knows how these things end would tell Stanfill the same thing. I’ll bet they already have. Again, sadly, I fear he may have already decided to let leave his talent under a bushell. Please understand my remarks are for his talent and his letting it out in the open again, and against his allowing himself to bring his own self down. Ultimately, that will be HIS decision and as with all decisions he’ll live with it. I and others will miss what he could ring to the table if he wanted to.

    I don’t know if it’s funny or sad. This message board tends to be more of a discussion about farleftside than it is about the comic. The same thing happens at State of the Union, where Marktrail posts his anti-left rants and the discussion becomes all about him. Reasoning with the attention seekers doesn’t seem to help, it just feeds their needs.

    I must admit, I peeked. Partly because Lefty is a neo-Rationalist Christ-hater (according to his web site)and got my gumption up , But I wonder what my obligation is to him as a fellow human-being? Who’s side do you take his or Hickerson’s? I was surprised to see that Stanfill actually has some artistic ability to go with his gag-writing abilities and wonder why he cant get a gig on his own. I believe he has been working on the side as an hedge fund manager and is only doing this for personal spite. ON QUIGMAN’s itself, I didn’t see it when it first came around so it’s all new to me although its a little stale. And the soap opera makes it even “better.” If Lefty is out of line Hickerson should pursue legal measures, but like Stanfill says I dont think he cares. Maybe he’s taken ill and cant leave his bed like Brian Wilson. That’s my TWO CENTS.

    I have to add , the soap opera is entertaining as long as no one gets hurt. And my personal standard for reading a comic starts with whether it makes me laugh or not. Quigman’s is funny more often than not. It takes a while…at first you go What?… and then you laugh your butt off!

    Dan Reynolds (aka eardroppings, dandroppings)–for someone who’s such a rabid fan of RU, how could you not know about your own website? Google yourself, email yourself and let yourself know about it. Sheesh. And while you’re at it, tell yourself about everything that is “going on” on GoComics. Your I-am-not-Dan-Reynolds tantrum is embarrassingly ridiculous. Get yourself a PRO account, identify yourself honestly… then trash others.
