    And yet they have jobs where they can afford pets and/or kids. Who hires these idiots, and are they themselves idiots?

    Why is it you never hear about kids left in cars in the winter?

    My second wish if I ever find that genie in the lamp is that sex be complicated enough that you have to have a normal IQ to figure out how to do it.

    And you hear about it more and more.

    On the other had – at the grocery store the other day I walked past a car that had the two back windows down and the engine running, but no one seemed to be inside. Except a Rottweiler dozing on the back seat – with the a/c running.

    Testing for the Moron Gene would control both Human and Pet over population, provided that prevented those that popped positive weren’t allowed to own or have either!

    ebsan: Never? no; rarely? yes. Solar heating works in the winter too, particularly when the ambient temperature hits 80°F.

    Great message, I hope the people who need it see it! (Oh, and don’t forget to take your kids out of the car while you’re at it.)

    @Dani Rice

    Unless that Rottweiler was a push over while in his territory (the car – which we all know, belongs to the dog, not the human) – locking the door would be unnecessary.
    .
    and why hasn’t anyone else figured out to leave the a/c on?
