And if he doesn’t win them all, I’ll want to know why!

Mongrels – my favourite breed! Seventy dogs for the price of one.

So-called mongrels the best that can be offered. Those sissy blue blood extreme breeds get weak and fragile.

I’ve had several purebreds in my life and they were far from weak or fragile. They all died of old age. The last was a Rottweiler who was 14 years old, which is unheard for the breed.

Night-Gaunt49: The technical term is hybrid vigor. The larger the gene pool, the better.

dogs from reputable breeders(those that care for the dogs and the breed, not money) can be the best. Mongrels can be great and so can designer dogs. Dogs that are closely bred for many generations or mongrels with small gene pools are likely to have problems.
The biggest part is the owners’ influence. Bad dogs have bad owners.
