Oh well do I remember
Twas a year ago November

On a morning bright and clear

Two game wardens etc.

Scientist Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832) left instructions to have his body “stuffed.” See his Wikipedia page for a picture.

Thanks for the reference, notsooldguy. I hadn’t personally acquainted myself with Bentham’s work since my college days, when I had little choice, :) and I had forgotten how influential he was, down to our present day.

Roy Rogers had Trigger, his horse for those of you under 45 or who were deprived as a child, and Bullet, his German Sherpard stulled and mounted in his museam in California. He once told his Wife Dale Evens, that when he went to have him stuffed and placed on Trigger. Dale told him not to get any bright ideas if she went first.
