Our bully like that – every new (expensive) Kong indestructible toy is just a fresh challenge,

And heaven forbid the squeeker should be left alive!

My sister had a dog like that. It would chew only the part of the stuffed animal that had the squeaker in it until it chewed a hole through the animal to the squeaker. Then the dog would pull the squeaker out and immediately lose lose interest in the stuffed animal.

Yep, squeaker first then the eyes then it doesn’t exist. Afte that dog got older he wouldn’t even bother beyond a sniff. Other dog rarely even sniffs a toy. Guess they weren’t part of her puppyhood.

Sakura looks a lot like her/his chew toy in the second panel.

My dog is at the age — 13 y/o — where she ignores a chew toy and just lays down and pulls pile out of the carpet. She probably won’t stop until she’s dead. You can’t go to Pet Supermarket and replace carpet pile. I even have to pull clumps of carpet from between her teeth

There’s kids who manage to break every indestructable toy they receive.

When we were kids, our parents got some “indestructible” plastic glasses. It took us about an hour to break the first one.

That’s funny :) Your bully must have exceptional jaws. A Kong toy broke our lab of chewing. She destroyed every toy we gave her until we found Kong, she chewed it nonstop for 3 days then I came in to find her, head on paws, staring mournfully at the (undamaged) chew toy. When I rubbed her face she flinched. She’d chewed til her jaws were sore. She never destroyed a toy again.

I had a dog like that. Finally we got him a hard plastic “bone”. It took him three months, but he finally wore it down to the size we were afraid he might swallow it.
