Very true except for one small detail. In 1959 there probably weren’t 20 gates.

In the late 50’s/early 60’s, I lived in Saudi Arabia. Every 2 years, we’ d fly back to the States for leave. It was the ONLY time my dad ever wore a tie, and my mother decked out my sister and me in frilly matching dresses. Can’t remember if Mom wore gloves….. :-)

I wore sunglasses, a red bandana wrapped around my head, and baggy camouflage pants with a .45 automatic stuffed in the waistband.

zuria, I’ll bet your mom definitely had the gloves, whether they were in the matching purse or not…if she was anything like my grandmother. (I’m a little bit younger than you)
