    Very true. Goes along with the “you’re special” stuff that every kid is told. Well, everyone is special, so what’s special about that?

    My friend’s son, when he was going through the teenage years, told his dad,“I want to be different, just everyone else!” A classic.

    In a society that is increasingly trying to shout down any one
    who thought differs from the currently promoted norm, it is
    important to remember one’s own and others uniqueness.
