Michael Jantze¹s The Norm is the comic strip for the every-person -- that is, if that person is a little bit geeky, in touch with their inner child, constantly confused by the opposite sex, and willing to be a little goofy just to keep things normal! The clever dialogue and bold art style are perfectly complementary to the unique observations and imaginative adventures of the title character - Theodore Norman Miller.

I know! What happened to eloquent men?

I’ve noticed that if you show eloquence the locals aren’t’ happy and want to brow beat you out of town on a rail.

Can we not be both deep lakes and storm puddles? Both look fun and soul nourishing.
Screw the gender split thinking. People are people. But have to say it gave us a nice quote and feel good vibe picture. It’s great looking at reflections in obsure puddles.

“brow beat you out of town on a rail,” eh? Those two metaphors go together like stripes and plaids.

Ugh. The old, sexist “that’s just how men are” argument to excuse and condone the lazy and shallow. Do they have to reprint all the old Norms? Can’t they skip some?

Gee, Norm. If you think women are so superior, why don’t you put on a skirt?
Oh, wait…………….
Actually, the chicks would be talking about SHOES!
